Thank you so much for your kindness and compassion.
We know that these are challenging times for everyone. The need to reduce spending and save as much as possible is something we can all relate to. However, at Dogs Trust we simply can't make cuts when it comes to caring for thousands of dogs every year. Without vital veterinary treatment, fuel for our life-saving dog ambulances, and gas and electricity to keep our rehoming centres safe and warm, we just couldn't continue our essential work. But the costs associated with providing this level of expert care are all on the rise.
This, coupled with the sad reality that more and more owners are being forced to relinquish their companions due to finances, has put significant strain on our services and resources. We are determined to get through this and ensure that no dog suffers because of the current climate, but we can't do it without people like you!

By showing up today and making a gift you're helping save the lives of thousands of stray and abandoned dogs who need our essential care, not only now but all year around.
Dogs just like little Dusty here. Dusty was discovered in a bin at just 5-weeks old. Far too young to be away from his mum, underweight and suffering from sore and itchy skin, poor Dusty, who had been dumped like rubbish, was in such a frightened state that he was lucky to still be alive.

Once Dusty was in our care, we rushed him in for his veterinary check-up, and quickly set to work on treating his skin condition, and giving him the vital vaccinations, worming treatment and nutrition every puppy needs in their first weeks and months of life.
While recovering and receiving round the clock care, we made sure Dusty felt safe and warm by giving him lots of home comforts, like fun and interactive toys as well as soft and cosy bedding.

Once Dusty's skin was on the mend and he was feeling stronger, we began his training and socialisation to help him overcome his ordeal and bring him out of his shell. We wanted to help Dusty finally start to enjoy his puphood, and give him the best chance of finding a forever home.
Now, Dusty has grown into a confident, playful little chap who is full of beans and absolutely loves everyone he meets, both two and four-legged.
If it wasn't for the generosity of dog lovers like you, Dusty may never have got the second chance he deserved. But There are still so many dogs like Dusty in need of our care, and with the cost of living seriously impacting our resources, we need your help more than ever to provide it.
So please, if you can, spare a gift today so we continue can giving vulnerable and innocent dogs like Dusty a future. Thank you
